Description
This application is for consent to sever land from the rear of the property at 838 Meadowvale Road and convey it as a lot addition to the land shown as Block 33 on the attached Lot Division Plan. The land to be severed is a 1,269 m2 parcel shown as Part 1. The remaining land at 838 Meadowvale Road would continue to be used for the existing dwelling. The purpose of the lot addition is to create a parcel of land with frontage on Pythagoras Drive for future residential development. On November 12, 2015, the Committee of Adjustment granted provisional consent for the creation of three residential lots on the land (File B020/15SC).

Comparison with similar applications
Lobbied applications are compared only with unlobbied applications of the same type, in the same ward, submitted in the same year and of the same size band (units or floor area from the description; sub-type for Committee of Adjustment files). Unlobbied applications are weighted to match the lobbied group. Raw lobbied versus unlobbied averages are not reported.

Submission to hearing. Approval and refusal rates are among applications with a recorded decision.
Large and complex applications attract both lobbying and longer reviews, and matching cannot remove every difference between applications, so a difference does not show that lobbying changed how an application was reviewed.
Lobbyists choose whom to contact, so a difference does not show a change of mind.
