Description

Proposal to create one lot (PART 8 to be severed and then added to PART 3 as shown on Registered Plan 66R-30843). The resulting lot would have a frontage of 13.87 m on Ellesmere Road and a lot area of 621 square metres. This newly created lot would be developed for the construction of a new, detached dwelling. PART 10 as shown on the Registered Plan 66R-30843 is to be conveyed to the City of Toronto for road widening purposes. NOTE: The severance and lot addition was approved through Consent Application B0063/18SC. However, the one year period to clear the conditions has expired. There are no required minor variance applications for this proposed lot severance and lot addition.

Comparison with similar applications

Lobbied applications are compared only with unlobbied applications of the same type, in the same ward, submitted in the same year and of the same size band (units or floor area from the description; sub-type for Committee of Adjustment files). Unlobbied applications are weighted to match the lobbied group. Raw lobbied versus unlobbied averages are not reported.

Submission to hearing. Approval and refusal rates are among applications with a recorded decision.

Large and complex applications attract both lobbying and longer reviews, and matching cannot remove every difference between applications, so a difference does not show that lobbying changed how an application was reviewed.

Lobbyists choose whom to contact, so a difference does not show a change of mind.
