Description
Rezoning application to redevelop the existing low-rise commercial building and associated surface parking area with a 33-storey (109 metres, plus mechanical space) mixed use building, with 445-residential units, and 29,009 square metres of residential gross floor area. The proposal includes 806 square metres of retail space on the ground floor, along Danforth Avenue and St. Dunstan Drive. 1,903 square meters of indoor and outdoor amenity space are also proposed. The proposal comprises of a tower with a five storey podium that wraps the building on three sides. Surface parking and a two-level underground parking garage provide 149 vehicle parking spaces, including eight spaces at grade. A total of 348 bicycle parking spaces are proposed for the building, with 32 short-term spaces, 304 long term spaces and twelve publicly accessible spaces. Access to the site and the underground parking garage is via a driveway at the north end of the site, which connects the two abutting streets, Macey Avenue and St. Dunstan Drive. Note that Community Planning intends to bring forward this application to Scabrough Community Council on April 30th, 2026 for a decision report.
