Description
Revised plans dated Dec 9, 2019 for an in-fill redevelopment on a site that contains an existing 17-storey rental apartment building. The application is to construct: a 37-storey (404 units) residential building; 12-storey residential building (133 units), and two rows of 3-storey townhouses (15 townhouses) fronting the new public road; and a new public park. The total gross floor area of the existing and proposed development is 74,295 m2 with a FSI of 3.83 x the lot area. A total of 421 parking spaces will be provided at grade and in a below grade garage. A draft zoning by-law amendment was approved by City Council via a settlement report on July 23-25, 2018. September 2016 resubmission involves 727 dwelling units proposed in two buildings. 132 dwelling units are proposed in a 10 storey building on the north of the site, and 592 dwelling units are proposed in a 44 storey building on the southern part of the site. Rezoning application 15 261823 NNY 26 OZ has been applealed to the Ontario Municipal Board pursuant to Section 34 (11) of the Planning Act. A pre-hearing has been scheduled for July 18, 2017. This May 18, 2017 submission pertains to the Site Plan application 15 261828 NNY 26 SA only.
