Description
To construct a new three-storey semi-detached houseplex with a rear basement walkout with stairs, a covered front porch, and a rear exterior staircase with landings to access each storey. Also, to construct a new two-storey detached ancillary building containing a dwelling unit (garden suite). There will be a total of five residential dwelling units on this lot (four units within the main dwelling and one unit in the ancillary building). Minor Variance Decision A0797/24TEY approved a new three-storey semi-detached fourplex dwelling (reviewed as an apartment building) with a total of four dwelling units on the lot. This Minor Variance application is necessitated to reflect applicable variances for the three-storey semi-detached building (reviewed as a semi-detached houseplex), a total of five dwelling units on the lot, and to include variances for a new ancillary building (garden suite), not previously proposed.

Comparison with similar applications
Lobbied applications are compared only with unlobbied applications of the same type, in the same ward, submitted in the same year and of the same size band (units or floor area from the description; sub-type for Committee of Adjustment files). Unlobbied applications are weighted to match the lobbied group. Raw lobbied versus unlobbied averages are not reported.

Submission to hearing. Approval and refusal rates are among applications with a recorded decision.
Large and complex applications attract both lobbying and longer reviews, and matching cannot remove every difference between applications, so a difference does not show that lobbying changed how an application was reviewed.
Lobbyists choose whom to contact, so a difference does not show a change of mind.
