Description
To alter the development standards for the 10-storey apartment building, located at the eastern portion of the development site (as approved under Site-Specific By-law 880-2024), by reducing the building setbacks and increasing the height of the mechanical penthouse. There will be a total of 7 parking spaces on-site (5 residential parking spaces and 2 visitor parking spaces, including two accessible parking spaces). This building will contain 92 affordable rental units (including 10 secured rental-replacement units for 1339 King St West). The existing two-and-one-half-storey detached dwelling located at 1337 King Street West, and the existing two-and-one-half-storey apartment building (containing 10 rental units) located at 1339 King Street West, will be demolished. The existing 11-storey apartment building and Parkdale United Church located at the western portion of the development site (municipally known as 1355 King Street West) will be maintained and unaltered. This is currently being reviewed under a related Site Plan Control (File Number 25 165309 STE 04 SA).
