Description
To construct a new eight-storey building (self-storage use with secondary uses at grade) on the western portion of the lot and to permit recreational use on the lot as well as self-storage warehouse, retail store, medical clinic, and eating establishment uses at-grade within the building. The existing two-storey commercial building (retail use) on the eastern portion of the lot will be partially retained with a portion of the building (on the west side) being demolished to facilitate the construction of a new driveway and parking lot between the two buildings. There will be a total of 32 parking spaces (including five accessible parking spaces), and a total of 6 Type "B" loading spaces provided on the lot. Also, a Privately-Owned Publicly Accessible Space (POPS) will be added along the side (west) lot line. A related Site Plan Application (File Number 20 24 240290 STE 09 SA) is currently under review.

Comparison with similar applications
Lobbied applications are compared only with unlobbied applications of the same type, in the same ward, submitted in the same year and of the same size band (units or floor area from the description; sub-type for Committee of Adjustment files). Unlobbied applications are weighted to match the lobbied group. Raw lobbied versus unlobbied averages are not reported.

Submission to hearing. Approval and refusal rates are among applications with a recorded decision.
Large and complex applications attract both lobbying and longer reviews, and matching cannot remove every difference between applications, so a difference does not show that lobbying changed how an application was reviewed.
Lobbyists choose whom to contact, so a difference does not show a change of mind.
