Description
CreateTO, as a City agnecy, has received approval for a Zoning By-law Amendment to permit a mixed-use development consisting of two affordable rental housing buildings, with heights of 41 and 6 storeys. The development will include 497 square metres of community/commercial space at grade and 652 square metres of Privately Owned Publicly Accessible Open Space (POPs). The buildings will provide a total of 458 residential units, and a mix of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units. Access from Shortt Street will lead to 1 level of below-grade parking, providing a total of 42 parking spaces, and 421 bicycle parking spaces. The development provides a total GFA of 35,568 square metres. The proposal also provides 939 square metres of indoor amenity space and 1,144 square metres of outdoor amenity space.
