Description

To amend the Official Plan to permit the mixed-use redevelopment of the periphery surface parking lots around the shopping mall with eight new buildings including podiums ranging from 2 to 8 storeys in height with 15 tower elements ranging from 17 to 45 storeys in height for residential, office and retail uses. Four new public parks, public and private roads, above and below grade parking structures and a daycare are proposed. The redevelopment is proposed to comprise of three phases of new mixed-use development, in addition to the retained Mall, and a Special Study Area to protect for the future expansion of transit infrastructure.
