Description
To permit construction of two 6-storey residential buildings with commercial uses at grade containing approximately 487 units (812 beds) for a total residential gross floor area of 29,003m2, 2,494m2 of retail and 268m2 of office. Also proposed is 225 long term and 58 short term residential bicycle spaces, and 5 long term and 12 short term spaces for retai/office uses. Being processed concurrently is the Southwest Precinct Plan. The Precinct Plan, Zoning Amendment and Plan of Subdivision applications. The Precinct Plan includes a proposed vision and framework to guide future development within the precinct. The York University Secondary Plan requires the preparation of a precinct prior to the approval of non-university development in the Edge Precincts. The Plan of Subdivision creates new public roads.
